OUR CONSORTIUM
ECECT – European Centre for Emerging Competencies and Technologies is a non-profit organization founded in 2020 in Cyprus, with the main objective to bridge the gap between actual market needs and job candidates, by educating both adults and adolescents. This is achieved by organizing, co-organizing, and supporting workshops, events, and other dissemination activities that can be undertaken in close collaboration with supporting organizations. ECECT is a coordinator and partner in multiple European projects and is providing expertise in topics such as digital skills, IoT, AR, VR, robotics, and emerging technologies in the environmental and agricultural sector etc.
Miletia is a non-profit youth organization established in Crete, Greece. The organization is focused on supporting young people in the rural areas of Crete. Miletia specifically works in the areas of rural development, new technologies, youth employment, and education. We have created active communities to provide learning opportunities and support to young people in remote areas and continue to foster their personal and professional development.
Our team consists of experts in waste management, circular economy solutions, municipal waste management, commercial industrial and household packaging waste management, plastics and single-use plastics management, recycling systems, organic waste collection systems, Pay as You Throw Systems, EPR schemes and Deposit Refund schemes in the EU and the rest of the world. We provide capacity building services which include guidance, trainings and implementation support to governments, local self-government bodies and the industry in various countries and in various contexts.
Erasmus+ is the EU’s programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. The 2021-2027 programme places a strong focus on social inclusion, the green and digital transitions, and promoting young people’s participation in democratic life. It supports priorities and activities set out in the European Education Area, Digital Education Action Plan and the European Skills Agenda. The programme also supports the European Pillar of Social Rights, implements the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027 and develops the European dimension in sport.
